CHILDREN'S CLASSES: Students dropped off more than 10 minutes early or picked up more than 10 minutes late will be charged for childcare. Children picked up after childcare ends will be charged $1 per minutes.

SCHOLARSHIPS:Scholarships are available to those who qualify. Contact us for a scholarship form.

TAX ADVANTAGE:Class fees for children and youth 5 & up may qualify for state tax deduction.

REFUNDS, CHARGES, & CANCELLATIONS: All refunds are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. If a student withdraws two weeks or more prior to the first class meeting, tuition, less registration fee, is refunded. After that, no credits or refunds will be made. There is a $20 charge for checks returned due to insufficient funds. There are no membership refunds. We will notify you ONLY if your class is canceled. Class cancellations will be determined three days before first class. You are welcome to call and check the status of your class. We cannot guarantee enrollment in a class until payment is received.

Art Sprouts

Art Blossoms

Art Blossoms is a wonderful foundation class for young artists to foster, through art-making, a personal relationship with creative thinking. It focuses on exploring the capacities of different media and develops a greater understanding of various techniques. To engage return students, curriculum is new each session. Incredible Comics

Length: 
8 weeks (grades 3 & up)

Learn creative tricks used by comic artists to produce stories that successfully convey ideas, thoughts and feelings. Participants will conceive, draw, ink, letter and ultimately assemble their own unique characters, storylines and comics. Note: Class offered next in fall session.

Design Innovators

What does it take to be a designer and bring ideas to fruition? Learn to formulate a design problem—I need a pair of shoes for a party that light up like a disco ball, ideate—make lots of drawings to sort out ideas. The Creative Self

Charmers - Pewter Casting

Experience the ancient art of pewter metal casting by learning techniques used during the Middle Ages. Cast pendants, earrings, charms and buttons. Students will also have the opportunity to cast original designs by carving their own molds. Note: Process involves molten metal. Felted Pouches, Bags & Bowls

Length: 
1 day

Felt a bowl, pouch or bag to hold small gifts, your phone, glasses, jewelry or other treasures. No knitting or sewing, learn the fascinating art of seamless wet felting. Add texture and color to your pouch with a variety of surface embellishments. A felted closure will keep your treasures safe inside. Note: Materials fee $20 payable to instructor on day of class. Integrating Art into Curriculum

This workshop is for Educators, and clarifies how arts learning enhances academic achievement and helps participants explore ways of incorporating arts education into class curriculum. Torch Firing PMC+
