Jayme Moseng

Jayme Moseng:

I grew up in the great state of North Dakota, full of hauntingly beautiful landscapes and plenty of space in which to dream.  As a child I wanted to be just about everything, and I can tell you right now, that this hasn’t really changed.

After moving to Minnesota, I got my B.A. in Art, Psychology, and Public Health, with the hopes to evaluate on a larger level, how the health of a community affects the art it produces.  My studies give a pretty decent picture of my passions and process as an artist.  I’ve always been drawn to the cross sections, the gray areas, the paradoxes in life, and believe that part of my purpose as a creative soul is to illuminate us to our own interconnection.

I’m a painter primarily these days, but delve often into bookmaking, photography, jewelrymaking and more.  My art is something I throw my whole self into, and my aim is not simply to create something aesthetically pleasing, but to invite the viewer into an experience.  So this makes teaching at Articulture great fun.  I get to share these passions for art with all sorts of lovely people, like you!  Oh, and if you want to check me out on the world wide web, my website is is jaymejomoseng.com.  Thanks!!
