Questions we’re often asked

• Does ArtiCulture offer scholarships?

  Scholarships are available to those who qualify. Contact us for a scholarship form. You may also want to check with your local neighborhood association for financial scholarships.

• Are art classes tax deductible?

  All or a portion of class fees for children and youth ages five and up may qualify for a state tax credit. You may want to check with your tax advisor or the State Treasury department for details.

• Is there a deadline to register?

  No. You can sign up for a class even after it has begun. (However, some classes fill quickly, so it’s best to register early.)

• If I must cancel, will my registration fee be refunded?

  With the exception of a $15 processing fee, classes dropped two weeks (14 days) before the first day of class will be refunded 100%. After this period, tuition and fees will NOT be refunded except for documented medical emergencies. There are no other exceptions to this policy. Tuition may NOT be pro-rated or exchanged for another class.There is a $20 charge for checks returned due to insufficient funds
  

• Can I bring my infant to my toddler’s class?

  Of course! We love babies! However, we may have to reassess as your child becomes mobile.

• Are classes ever cancelled?

  ArtiCulture will notify all students registered if a class must be cancelled for any reason. We welcome you to call or e-mail us to check on the status of your class at any time.

• What if I’m late picking up my child?

  We have a ten-minute policy: unsupervised children dropped off more than 10 minutes early or picked up more than 10 minutes late will be charged for extended care. Children picked up or dropped off after 10 minutes will be charged $1 a minute.

• How do I pay for membership, classes or donations?

  We accept check, Visa, or MasterCard.

• What should we wear?

  We provide paint shirts and smocks, but remember creativity can be messy. Make sure that you and your child are dressed appropriately.

• What should we bring?

  All day camps and release days should bring 2 snacks and a lunch. Half day camp or regularly schedule classes should bring a snack. If you forgot your snack or just want one from ArtiCulture, we provide fairly healthy snacks and juice boxes for $0.75 each. Please remember to dress for mess!
