Bo Lee

KimyiBo was born in Seoul and has been based in Minneapolis since 2008. After studying fine arts at the University of Pennsylvania, she went back to Korea and received her M.F.A. in printmaking at Seoul National University. Her previous showings, including two solo exhibitions, exemplify the efforts of contemporary Asian art to relearn tradition while translating one culture into another. She teaches brush painting and art in addition to her painting, printmaking, and mural work.
